Flight operations in the Nigerian airspace remain suspended, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has said.
Henrietta Yakubu, FAAN’s Corporate Affairs’ General Manager, in a statement on Saturday told Nigerians to disregard a statement released by a certain Tayo Olu earlier on Saturday to the effect that a post covid-19 guideline for air travellers had been realesed by the Federal Government through the agency. Yakubu said the statement did not emanate from FAAN as the guideline is still being worked on.
Yakubu said: “We want to state emphatically that although FAAN is carefully and seriously working on a guideline, the release did not emanate from us as it is still a work in progress.
“Consequently, the Authority will like to enjoin air travellers and the general public to disregard the content of the said release.
“At the appropriate time, FAAN will release the post Covid 19 travel guidelines via our official communication medium.”
